P.S. I Love You Zine

This zine has been in the works for maybe half a year.  Last Christmas I gave out to my extended family handmade envelopes.  Since my mom is one of nine siblings it is a large family! The envelopes were a big hit and this year I wanted to do something more about my love of letter writing.

Included in all the zines is my Mail Mix cd, created way back in September.

These are the "deluxe" editions, complete with cardboard cover and duck tape edging. :-) These were given to my aunts and uncles, grandparents and very special friends.

The plan was to do the cardboard  covers for all of them because I wanted it to be a little bit sturdier to hold the cd, but that was quite a bit of work! The whole process of putting them together took place in just a week after I had finally finished my semester.  So... I had to resort to:
the non-deluxe zines :-)
No cardboard cover, but they still have the cd and they are still hand bound with embroidery thread.

I believe I made 35 total zines!

To be continued...

  1. Emilie, what a sweet gift! Bright colors, something to read, something to listen to, something to hold and read again... only thing missing was a gingerbread cookie! LOL!!! Love it!

  2. They're works of art. It's great that your family appreciates such gifts. :) Very creative.
