Hello friends,
Sorry I haven't been around in a while, I've been very busy. I just wanted to stop by and direct you to these two posts about the Type-Out hosted by the Cambridge Typewriter Co.
I had so much fun! But I forgot to bring my camera...
So head over to Taradactyl's blog and check out the post on the Cambridge Typewriter Co.'s blog too!

Letters in the Park
Who is that letter going to?? |
I've been trekking over to the small nearby park a lot. To eat strawberries, write letters, and read when alone... or to practice a little baseball with my boyfriend. My back is really aching from swinging that bat yesterday!
Here is some recent incoming mail. I love seeing mail I sent on other blogs and get very behind in posting the mail that I receive. I plan to really try to keep up to date on that so that my penpals can have that pleasure.
mail from the Missive Maven, a new correspondent, Clara, and two wedding related invitations! Thank goodness that everyone still sends real mail for that! :-D |
from Tara |
From Felicia in Canada. Such a cool stamp! |

Grooveshark Mail Music!
Hey everybody,
So I added a new thingummy on the left side of my blog. In case you haven't heard of it, Grooveshark is a really great website. It's kind of like youtube except just for songs, not for videos.
So I've compiled a list of songs about mail and if you check out the box at the top left you can scroll through the songs. I think that I made it so that it doesn't automatically start playing music when you open my website. You should have to click on it. If that is not the case, please let me know because I find that annoying.
Most of the songs are oldies, but there are a few more recent songs.
Here's the list as of right now:

PENGUIN #22 W. H. Auden
Adopted by Jocelyn in South Africa
Jocelyn has really beautiful handwriting so I thought I'd just let you see it instead of typing out what she wrote.
It's a really awesome stamp too. Is that a rhombus? Oh, geometry.
It's of jasper.
Jocelyn adopted another postcard too, which has a similar stamp... coming up soon.
Thanks so much for participating Jocelyn!!

Sparkly Negative Space Stars
Clay brought me home the remnants of a sticker sheet that he used at his work and I incorporated it into several pieces.
