Remember these Aeropostale sweatpants?

Well I finally got around to taking off the letters!

Here is the result!

I am still planning to embroider an envelope or a stamp or two on there, but we'll see how many more months that takes me! The original idea was from October!

Where My Letters Have Been

 My friend Abby is a great adventurer and traveler.  She has spent time working in Glacier National Park, working as a dog-sledder in Minnesota, camp counselor in West Virginia, and many many more places. One of the more recent was Slab City, CA.  I've sent her letters while she was in many of these locations.  She is planning to continue traveling and has decided that she'll take photos of all the weird places she's been with my letters!

So here we go!

P.S. I Love You Zine

This zine has been in the works for maybe half a year.  Last Christmas I gave out to my extended family handmade envelopes.  Since my mom is one of nine siblings it is a large family! The envelopes were a big hit and this year I wanted to do something more about my love of letter writing.

Included in all the zines is my Mail Mix cd, created way back in September.

These are the "deluxe" editions, complete with cardboard cover and duck tape edging. :-) These were given to my aunts and uncles, grandparents and very special friends.

The plan was to do the cardboard  covers for all of them because I wanted it to be a little bit sturdier to hold the cd, but that was quite a bit of work! The whole process of putting them together took place in just a week after I had finally finished my semester.  So... I had to resort to:

the non-deluxe zines :-)

No cardboard cover, but they still have the cd and they are still hand bound with embroidery thread.

I believe I made 35 total zines!
